Use of engineering-economic models to assess electricity market designs, potential for market power, and environmental policy; decision analysis of environmental, energy, and natural resources polices.

Dr. Hobbs uses operations research methods to address economic, technological, and environmental aspects of energy and natural resources policies. He is also an experienced facilitator of stakeholder decision processes involving risks and multiple objectives.
