TSEC2: Energy, Emissions and Technology Policy in European and Global Contexts
Sustainable energy policies occur within a European and global policy context where countries increasingly co-operate with other countries to achieve shared policy ambitions or carefully examine the lessons from experiments elsewhere with a view to implementing them domestically. The European and global context affects the security of UK energy supplies through possible disruptions and shocks leading to price hikes or unavailability as well as through the benefits arising from new technologies developed outside of the UK.
